The N2 is a 4-axis horizontal machining center that delivers high-productivity machining capabilities in a compact design that requires a mere 26 square-feet of floor space. Key N2 design features work in concert to slash non-cutting times:
- 300mm direct drive 4th axis completes 90° rotations in just 0.65 seconds
- Spindle acceleration to a 20,000 rpm maximum in 0.8 seconds
- Responsive Z-axis acceleration of 1.4G
Productivity and throughput of common drilling and tapping operations are up to 40 percent faster on the N2 compared to traditional 400mm machines. Efficient chip / coolant management and an automation ready design make the N2 the “right-sized” solution for small high-volume parts production.
